Author, with Frances Fox Piven and Lorraine Minnite, of Keeping Down the Black Vote: Race and the Demobilization of American Voters (2009); co-editor with Emily Welty of Critical Pedagogy in Peace and Justice Studies (forthcoming). Dr. Groarke is the coordinator of Community Based Learning at Manhattan College, and available to consult with college faculty looking to build their service-learning.
