The Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts and Social Justice (PASJ) educates and inspires artist-activists through studio work, service-learning projects, and research seminars that connect academic theory to practice. The Peace and Justice Studies minor offers students an analysis of conditions that lead to war and injustice, as well as opportunities to develop a vision for a just and peaceful society and an appreciation of how they can contribute to that goal.

Ranging from the local to the global levels, the Peace and Justice Studies minor enable students to examine impediments to peace and justice-such as militarism, repression, violence, racism, sexism, underdevelopment and environmental decay-as well as ideas, strategies, social movements, and theological and philosophical approaches that seek to build a just and peaceful society.
