The Master of Dispute Resolution (MDR) is a 32-unit program. Juris Doctor (JD) students will fulfill 14 of the 32 units through their JD program. An additional 18 units is required concurrently to also earn an MDR degree. These units can be completed during the summer, which allows students to earn both degrees in three years. Units may also be earned through winter intensive courses. A sample degree path would include taking 12 units during the summer, 4 units in the winter intensive program, and the final 2 units during the fall or spring semester.
