The Peace and Global Studies Certificate has an interdisciplinary approach offering the student an opportunity to become better informed about the world and its peoples. The spectrum of courses selected for the certificate is designed to broaden the student’s world view in order to become better world citizens. Having a Certificate in Peace Studies will serve as an adjunct to any major, whether it is business, agriculture, the arts, physical or life sciences or the human sciences. Most of the classes meet General Education requirements as well as the Ethnic and Non-Western requirement.
