- International Alert
A non-governmental organization based in the UK that aims to contribute
to the peaceful transformation of violent internal conflict, particularly

of the Former Soviet Union, and Sri Lanka.
- International Crisis Group
An independent, non-profit, multinational organization, with over 80
staff members on five continents, working through field-based analysis
and high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict.
- International Institute for Applied
Systems Analysis
An institute that conducts inter-disciplinary scientific studies on
environmental, economic, technological and social issues in the context
of human dimensions of global change. It includes a Publications Catalog
with several books on environmental and economic negotiations.
- Institute for World Affairs
A non-profit international organization devoted to the peaceful resolution
of conflict. The Institute provides training programs designed to
enhance professional skills in conflict resolution and infrastructure
development.
- Institute for Multi-Track Diplomacy
An institute that promotes a systems approach to peacebuilding and
facilitates the transformation of deep-rooted social conflict. It
conducts several initiatives on conflict resolution and peacebuilding
- Search for Common Ground
A conflict resolution and conflict prevention non-profit, non-governmental
organization based in Washington, DC, and works in partnership with

- Conflict Prevention
Initiative
An online project of the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict
Research at Harvard University. Launched in collaboration with the
United Nations in December 2000, CPI gives policymakers easy access
to information on human security and conflict prevention.

A World-Wide Web Virtual Library list of resources in peace and conflict
resolution
- Initiative on Conflict Resolution
and Ethnicity
A joint initiative between the University of Ulster and the United
Nations University. It aims to address the management and resolution
of conflict via a combination of research and training. Very useful
to research on the Conflict in Northern Ireland.
- IYOCO
A platform for international youth cooperation. Established by former
IIMCR participants
- Youthlink
An international collaboration among youth and youth-serving organizations
to share information, resources and solutions. Its purpose is to
promote greater youth engagement.

- International Peace Research Association: IPRA provides a world-wide network for peace researchers seeking nonviolent ways to resolve conflict.
- International Peace Research Association Foundation:The International Peace Research Association Foundation (IPRAF), a non-profit, tax-exempt organization founded in 1990 to further the purposes of International Peace Research Association (IPRA), seeks to enhance the processes of peace. The IPRA Foundation collects funds to support peace research and administers fellowships for peace studies and small peace research grants.
