PROPOSAL SUBMISSION FORM
The Peace and Justice Studies Association (PJSA), is pleased to announce that its annual conference will be hosted by Elizabethtown College, BCA, and the Baker Institute, Juniata College, from September 27-30, 2007 at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
The conference theme of “Cultural Identity in a Mass Culture World” will explore issues of identity and gender politics, ethnicity, nationalism and contact and integration among and between cultures, and the intersections of these issues in the modern world. PJSA is seeking presenters who are interested in examining these issues and sharing strategies and methods with which to address them in an increasingly globalized world.
Peace scholars, educators, activists, administrators and students interested in presenting at the conference should submit their proposals through the online form. You will need to submit an abstract of no more than 300 words along with your contact details and the preferred format of your proposal (paper presentation, panel discussion of no more than four presenters, or poster session).
Undergraduates in particular are encouraged to submit proposals for the student poster session.
The deadline for submission of proposals HAS BEEN EXTENDED to June 1, 2007.
