Through work with Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility I have organized and led trips to Palestine, Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. The nature of these trips was fact finding, teaching, and citizen diplomacy. My last trip to the Middle East was in June, 2003 when I accompanied members of the press as a helper/facilitator in Baghdad, Basra, Umm Qasr and Al Kut, Iraq.

I am a nurse, palliative care consultant, mother, grandmother and immediate past president of Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility.
